I cracked up when I saw this lady, who's obviously changed the color of her hair because she's got roots, changed it to match her dog!
They used to have a dog show in the neighborhood here where one of the categories was "Looks the most like his owner". So people actually do this.
Bill
No, but around here, they color their hair to match their outfits.
I work at a neighborhood branch of the public library--in da 'hood. It's not at all uncommon to see people with red hair and red shirts, blue hair and blue shirts and so on.
Matching one's dog seems so... pedestrian.
Noooo, you can't be serious about this, people from the past decade maded some like this? A 90's thing I suppose hum? They still actually do this nowdays?
People around here doesn't really care about matching the hair color according to the skin, it's very common around here to see dark people with blonde hair and vice versa.
But one thing I know, rich people around here (especially women) goes to the imported cars dealer and buy the car that matches they dress (Kinda weird too).
Interesting you mentioned women. Last Christmas we noticed that Mormon women are a lot more blonde than are Mormon men. You may not notice this on the streets of Salt Lake where the sexes are intermixed, but when you segregate Mormons by sex, it becomes obvious. Presumably they have sex with each other, so there's a whole lot of dyein' goin' on.
Bill
Well, this woman did accomplish one thing by coloring her hair to match her dog: to my eyes, it made me notice right away the guy's nice hair (even though it's rather short, his hair looks THE BEST out of the 3 of them - LOL)!!
So you are saying that two of the three in the photo are woofy?
B
LOL, yes -- the dog is woofy because of his bark; the guy is woofy because he has the best-looking hair out of the 3 of them!
I also got a kick out of your reply below, re. the Mormon females having a whole lot of blonde going on... or, rather: a whole lot of blonde DYING going on! (Which means maybe the woman in this pic with her dog is Mormon, too - LOL)
Hey, the dog may be Mormon. I bet he'd sound great howling in accompaniment to the Tabernacle Choir! The photo was from the cover of a catalog of a clothing store in Maine, but I've seen Mormon stake houses in New England.
The people may have been models. Or they may have been family members of the owner. The way the dog was snuggled up to her, I'd bet it is her dog. We've all seen horrible commercials with the owners on TV, talking about their auto dealership or store. When I was in high school we had one student whose dad owned a furniture company, and she would be pictured with his couches while SINGING on his TV ads!
I don't think she bleached her hair, though, and she left Fido at home.
I went to a very small high school, but it seems to crank out unusual characters. (Hey, quit pointing that finger at me!) One of its students wondered what the wars in the Mideast were about, so he flew there and wandered around meeting all the people who hated America, not letting on that he was American. This freaked out lots of people. And right now, one of the school's alums, Frankie Grande, is one of the contestants on the Big Brother TV show.
Bill
Frankie Grande is the Big Brother contestant who DYES HIS HAIR. In unnatural colors, at that!
