Figured I may as well post a couple pictures, since my last picture was from early May. Though, I'd like to hear your guys opinion on what type of hair it is? Straight or wavy? I personally think it's naturally straight. A couple facts: 1. Last haircut was in May of 2013. (I've had it trimmed once, probably late April.) 2. I use Aussie shampoo. 3. I rarely if -ever- condition. 4. I towel/air dry it. (I never blow-dry because if I do, it gets sorta poofy, and I prefer it being flatter-looking.)

Hey "O Duinn",
Your hair looks awesome, Bro!
I would say that your is mostly straight and flat; it has a little wave.
For thirteen (13) months of growth you have awesome length. How long was your hair when you had your last haircut in May, 2013 Do not get any more haircuts or trims.
I water wash my hair everyday. I condition my hair on even numbered calendar days. I shampoo my hair on Sundays and on Wed. I let my hair air dry.
Keep posting your progress, bro.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
You know that point, when you're a guy with short hair, and you're needing a haircut? That's probably where I was around, at that point where people keep questioning why you haven't gotten one.
Hi O Duinn,
Thanks for the very nice update photos! I must say your hair is inspirational to me! Your hair appears to be straight maybe with a little body wave. The waves will probably go away with more length. I think your shoulders are making your hair look wavy. But one thing I can say, your hair is just awesome!
I would recommend conditioning your hair once in a while though. To avoid poofiness, I use a "smoothing" conditioner. Also, I always final rinse my hair with cold water to eliminate frizz in my hair. Of course, you may get different results than other people. Please keep it growing and flowing! Stay well my friend!
Ted
Thanks! And on the topic of conditioner, I think I'll eventually need it once I'm older, and I've actually got some atop my shelf that I use.
Your hair is much like mine. moderately think, with just a hint of wave to keep from being yardstick straight. Color is similar also. looking brown indoors, but coppery red in bright light or outdoors. Enjoy your hair, my friend, it's magical.
They do appear to be similar, and I appreciate the positive feedback, thanks!
By the good looking of it, my answer is that your hair is straight and yes, you're doing everything right, getting it blow-dry not only gets poofy and frizzy, but can get your hair damaged if it's constantly blew-dried.
The towel/air dry is the most recommended but you need to pay attention for not getting towel dry too strong as it can even damage your hair.
As for the shampoo, even cheap shampoos gets the job done, the thing that you need to have in mind is not to rely on TV commercials, look for the right shampoos for you and by the looks of your hair, we can really see that Aussie shampoo of yours is getting the job done. Are you using only shampoo all this time? What about the conditioner?
Anyway, keep up the good work!
Cheers
Looks great, O Duinn...
Nice style on you.
I do recommend you use conditioner more often, though - as your hair can easily become tangled - some guys have had bad situations happen when they had to cut their hair due to bad snarls and tangles - the conditioner helps prevent that from happening.
consider it - it adds to the health of your hair, too. Prevents split ends and breakage.

Magnificent hair. Nice straight body fullness in back. I also use Aussee shampoo. Very soft shampoo to use. At my hair salon yesterday to remove tangles, she confirmed that I not use shampoo more than once a week. Otherwise the hair will dry out and tangle more. She is my recently discovered "Long Hair Specialist". Most clients are very long haired women. Highly recommended. Nice work. Just say I want it long, and she takes care of the rest. I need to use leave in conditioner after shampoo.
Thanks, Don
My face in these pictures looks so empty without a beard, I cannot wait till I'm older so that I'll have one to accommodate the hair.
AWESOME HAIR!!!
Nice hair! Looks awesome.
Amazing growth, absolutely wonderful... Do this now when you're young.... I wish I would have...
All the best... The Spaf Man
