Hello everybody :) I stumbled across the website today while searching the web for any and all websites devoted to men growing out their hair. I am a 34 year old IT technician living in Texas, and have always wanted to grow out my hair. I just couldn't get past the akward middle stage, and ended up shaving my hair off. Four months ago, I decided to just deal with the stage, and vowed to not cut my hair anymore. I am very excited to share my journey with you all, and to chronicle my progress monthly. I will post some pictures, this evening, and show the progress that I have made in the last 4 months. I hope to share more experiences with this forum, and to build some online friendships. Looking at your pics it looks like you have a great head of thick hair to work with. You look like you have had some awesome growth of hair in just four (4) months. You should be able to just power through the awkward stage. You seem to be happier in your after pics than in your before pics.

You say that you have been wanting to grow your hair out for a long time. You're a born longhair. It is part of who you are.
