Just had my hair trimmed last week. My trustworthy stylist that I’ve known for years (and that truly loves my long hair!) only cuts what she needs to, usually approx 1 cm / 1/2 inch. I have my hair trimmed every 6 months. I find my hair looks healthier (especially the ends) and experience less shedding after a short trim.
Now, I can’t wait to reach mid back....which should be by end of year. Only then will I truly consider myself being a longhair....

Your hair looks awesome, luckly you got someone that likes your hair for trimming it, the only one I know for about 20 years is the same barber that insanely wants to cut all my hair hahaha.
Anyway, you're getting close to the mid back I must say, it's looking very nice and healthy by the way.

Glad to hear that you've found yourself a great stylist and are getting trims to keep the ends looking nice (your ends look great!) I had my hair trimmed about 1/4" every 3 months during my growing process by a very trusted, supportive stylist.
I'm sure you have a few females who are envious of your hair ;-)

Yes, I do get positive comments on my hair! And I love it every time! But I wished my wife would be as supportive as other women seem to be.... I guess it'll take time! But that won't stop me from getting them longer!

FYI, I now live 1 hour away from my stylist....but since she's the only stylist I trust, I don't mind the drive!
... a truly beautiful mane - colour, body, length ... I've never trimmed mine in 5. yrs. after seeing this pic. = I just might now ... hehehe
