Was powerin' up the window of my old (collector plates) Buick. When, "YOW" My tail was caught by the glass as it closed in the frame. No damage but need to watch that. I got tired of it being pulled when I sit down so have been flingin it to the side. Well The breeze whipped the end up to just the right location at just the right moment. Its lower back in length but seems to be taking its time. Not certain if my terminal length is now above the waist....Is it correct to presume ones terminal length can change with age? It's not a bothersome issue as I am happy with mid back or so.
I find my grey doesn't grow as long as my brown. As I get greyer, my tail gets shorter.
Like you, I'm not bothered by this, and truth be told, damage from bicycling is probably what limits my length the most. If I simply braided or segmented my tail before turning the pedals, I'm sure it would grow longer. But I can't be arsed.
Hi Jason,
Glad to hear there was no damage! Needless to say, I can't wait to get to this point! Hope you have a good long terminal length should you decide to go longer! Please be well my friend!
Ted

oh yes - the wonderful perks-o-long-hair - my care boarders on benign neglect, these days, as i live my life here, there & everywhere ... suffice to say = the amount-o-times my hairs been caught, pulled, plucked, slammed, tangled in & on, I can't count - just the other day I left a plait in for one week & it took 1 hour to painstakingly remove the mattered mess: ( near to 'nape of neck' knots are horrendous ) - point being in the fullness of time ( 5. years into my long-hair journey ) = i just live & the hair keeps up - ready or not - i care little about terminal length now - as more important, real-life issues manifest - i celebrate every day I'm alive - life is so precious = love & peace CEM.
This is exactly why I've gone to wearing mine in a bun more and more, especially while driving and doing other activities. A bun is so much more convenient (and protective for the hair itself).
I don't think whether or not your hair is grey has anything to do with growth rate (some people grey early). Some people see a slower rate of growth as they age. So far, mine seems to still grow faster than average.
Hey, I'll keep this in mind as I make progress. And thanks for your comment on my milestone.
be careful out there.
Glad you're ok, maybe one year I could come close to that length...
