So, I finally made it to 1 year, around 2 years after originally restarting to grow my hair long again!
There's not much to say that I haven't already said in the video, so if you are so inclined, enjoy the watch, my friends =)

My 1 year mark, finally!
Congrats on making it to one year of hair growth.
I just watched you YouTube, Only thing I gotta say is don't worry about that hair line. If it was actually perfect, it would lack character. That hair line just the way it is is part of the awesomeness of what it is to be Raul.

I am really excited for this upcoming year, seeing as this is almost new territory for me, last time being in 2006, I don't really remember what happens next ;)
I also extend my congratulations to my fellow hairiversaries, as I am two weeks shy of crossing out my twelfth month of my no-cut chart. I have also arrived at my first anniversary.
From September 2013 to January 2014, I had simply neglected to cut my hair, and then I decided to grow it. I already had the first three months, which was the "worst" part.
We're still in awkward stage as I felt when having a meal with my wife with the wind blowing into the back of my head, with all the non-ponytailable stuff still flailing around my eyes and face. We have to be patient.
As always, keep going and live your lives, and we will all live these wonderful moments when we feel it tickling our shoulders or look in the mirror and see it getting longer and longer.
This forum is wonderful for getting us to encourage each other, especially if we have the old cracked records saying "get it cut, get it cut, etc.". The longer it gets, the less we will hear that old mantra!

Actually I'm only in about 22 months or so. My hair seems to be taking its time growing nowadays. But I am trying to be patient! I'm in it for the long haul man! My minimum goal length now is classic length. Hopefully my hair genes will hold up! Right now I'm trying to get all of the hair to get to one length.
My wife actually has a smartphone! I have to see if I can get her to help me upload a video for you! Take care my friend!

That would be grand, and I would make sure to direct tons of traffic your channels' way in order to get your great hair more exposure, which in return would inspire tons of other men to grow their hair long! :)

Although I didn't watch your video all of the way through to the very end (I got maybe about half-way into it -- I'm an impatient old bastard, as I tend to get too restless if I have to just sit and watch ANYthing for too long - LOL), what I did see was very nice, and looked like it was fun to make; so again, CONGRATS!!!

I thought people were supposed to get more patience with age, not the other way around? :D
That all depends.
As I get older I find that I am becoming less patient and more grumpy with things or people taking longer than they should, but more patient with children and in situations where someone is putting forth a real effort to learn or improving a situation. I have about a 2-3 minute attention span with videos before I have to start doing something else and just listen to the video instead. (which I did when I "watched" your YouTube)

I know that I haven't been very active on the hyperboard lately, but after your wonderful video, I just felt I had to stop on by, and reply.
I really have to congratulate you in sticking to your guns, and hanging in there in your long hair growing journey. I know that the road has been frustrating at times, but the last year has definitely been a good one, and you are fully into longhairdom now. Just imagine where you will be with another full year of growth.
