Well, with great intentions I took these pictures almost a month ago to the day for my 2 year update...life has been crazy so I'm actually at 25 months now :)
Regardless, I finally hit the 2 year mark and I finally feel like my hair is long now. I still have some minor things that annoy me, but at this point I'm no longer thinking, "in a few months it'll grow out of that..."
As far as where to go from here, I'm finally ready to do some maintenance on the back. I'm in search of a trustworthy hair professional to mainly get the back of my neck cleaned up. You really can't tell from the picture, but when I wear a ponytail (every day to work) my neck hair is crazy and IMO untidy. It's probably not as noticeable as I feel like it is, but it drives me a bit crazy, so I'm going to do something about it :)

Absolutely hate neck hair, and have been trimming my own for a couple of years now! It will feel like a brand new neck, I tell you! hehe
Do you use a mirror and electric trimmer for your neck hairs? The thought of accidentally cutting my hair is whats keeping me from trying that...

That's the way I do mine. It's awkward so it takes practice and isn't for the faint of heart, as it is possible to have a minor mishap.
If you decide to try this by yourself, make sure you securely tie your hair up and away from where you're trimming. I often use a beard trimmer and sometimes scissors. The fuzzy short stuff works best with the trimmer, but slightly longer stuff along the bottom can often be tamed with scissors.

As usual you give us great pictorials of your hair progress which I admit looks totally fantastic on you:) You have great quality hair and the color is so cool. I admit too the neck hairs are a pain but I don't do anything about them even though I should. As you know they really are noticeable when your hair is tied up. Hey Ted, thanks! I'm probably going to keep it around this length for now and see how I like it once the neck hairs get trimmed. I'd like to get everything the same length and blunt the end, so I'll probably get a trim soon as I wait for top hairs to reach the lower ones length.

Looking great Tommy! Personally, I've never done anything about my neck hair. Never thought that it would be worth the trouble to me. I know many guys do keep that area cleaned up though. Best of luck to you.
