Well, I've made it through one year without a haircut. I am loving the long hair, I am finally able to tie it back minus the front and some of the sides. I will post a comparative photo from 1 year ago in the replies section so as to show "how much hair occurs" in a one year span.
Thanks,
Seminole
Here it was 1 year ago..
Is this really you? Hehe.
Ted
lol.
It may have been at one moment in time. The past is a different country, we do not live there anymore...
Well done from your September 2013 Haircut Club comrade. Your hair is looking great. We seem to be at the same stage, you and I. In a couple of months, we'll be able to tie everything back except the front bang.
Keep going! I'll show a photo of me last January in my boat with 3-month hair next to my 15-month hair as it will be in early January 2015. Perhaps I'll take the boat out on the same lake and take a selfie.

My blog
Yes, I agree we are. I look forward to the update. Thanks, friend.
Say, Anthony, What's your goal length?
Nice length. I was just curious..
You look like a different guy, Seminole!
Congratulations. Keep going! Your hair looks great.
I think so too. I really am liking my new look. Thanks!!
Yes, it beats your old look, hands down! Your long hair looks great on you.
Bill
Thanks much, Bill!
Not only it looks awesome but also looks very healthy .
What length are you going for?
Thanks for the comliment, I try to keep up with it and I don't blow dry it or anything else harmful. I wash it every other day, this picture was taken before the wash today. I am using keratin conditioner and teatree shampoo and I love it.
As of now I am wanting to see what terminal length is, but that may change. I know I want it to be very long though, hips for sure.
What a total transformation, Seminole! You have a look that is extremely similar to that of the Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro (when he was young), one of my all-time favorite character actors. AMAZING difference between 1 year ago and today, simply stunning!!!
I hope you never go back to short hair again -- although of course it is your own hair, so if you choose to do that someday, that's your call (as long as you don't mind me wailing like a baby about it - LOL)!
All kidding aside, a big CONGRATS to you on a job WELL DONE!!!!!
- Ken in San Francisco
Thanks so much Ken. I think if I did go back I would also be wailing with you lol. I have become attached to my hair it is a part of me. There are many people who will still haggle me to cut it back to the way it used to be, but to my surprise many people who originally were against its growth now prefer the way it is now!! I am just going day by day, but I sure am enjoying the long hair!!
Many wishes of joy and peace,
Seminole
Hi Seminole,
Wow! You have really made some serious progress in only a year! Your hair is growing perfectly and looks great! I can see why you love it! I can't wait to see it even longer! It's only going to get better! Please keep it growing and stay well my friend!
Ted
Thank you Ted. A major milestone for me, I knew the 3rd attempt at growing it out would be the charm.
I remember your first post...
... I must say... amazing progress... Glad you didn't cut..
... best wishes on the journey... The Spaf Man
Thanks Spaf, will keep everyone updated as I go.
