Actually for our civil war group we spend a lot of time
in graveyards doing graves registration. It basically entails
searching through the graveyard looking for anyone who would be an age that they could have served in the civil war, and then researching to find out if they did indeed serve.
It is time consuming but it slso allows us to honor the boys in blue who answered President Linooln's call to save the union.
It is believed that 750,000 died during the civil war and there are a number of them who are still unrecognized today (it was originally thought that 618,222 men died in the civil war, now they believe that the number is now higher.
BOO!!
For Halloween this year, I wore a hospital gown with a pair of pantyhose with a rubber butt sewn onto it... I DID wear some clothes underneath that outfit, though! (LOL)
