8 months is a tough mark. For me, I continued to do minor adjustments every 3 months or so changing the style or the part whatever you have to do to keep it interesting setting mini milestones along the way to keep you more focused on not such a "long" term goal. Set goals in between and keep it new. Just my two cents.
