I don't know where to begin. Yeah still growing my hair. I used to have thick hair, but had some major sheds throughout my journey. These days I continue to bun and ignore. I follow the George Michael hair care routine. I wash my hair once a month with cheap clarifying v05 shampoo/conditioner. I never wear my hair down (only for length checks). I'm dependent on my boar bristle brush to spread my sebum and clean my hairs from lint, dust, and anything from the environment. Anytime my ends feels dry I use two drops of mineral oil.
I love the saying on here "onwards and downwards. "
Hi Rowie,

I love it when the long time members show up, Rowie!
Your hair is looking great. It's too bad you never wear your hair down. But then it is your hair, your choice.
Now that i'm 60 years old and have had long hair since 1964
my attitude is i've got long hair and will wear it down and loose. If someone doesn't like it then they can just go jump ot the window.
When I joined the civil war group I was expecting lots of complaints about my hair. After all these years i've gotten zero complaints, and there are a number of other guys who also have long hair. (Mine is the longest, but i've noticed at least ten of them.) My hair is even longer than all the women in the
ladies auxiliaries.
At my age I refuse to hide the fact that I have long hair.
So even when I go to weddings/funerals/banquets/etc. I still have my hair down and loose. My attitude is "i've got long hair,
deal with it." Even when we have march in veterans parades for the civil war soldiers my hair is still down and loose. (We are an honorary organization, not re-enactors. i.e. descendents of civil war soldiers.
And for the last 15 years i've gotten zero complaints about my hair.
I will bun it/pony tail it/braid it/pig tail it to prevent
potential damage, but most of the time it down and loose. At 60 years old i'm going to keep the hair long, down and loose
so that I can enjoy it. At 60 years old I don't care what others
think. It's my hair.
I do too.
Hey rowie,
Your hair looks awesome!
How long have you been growing it?
Keep growing it to terminal length.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
