So I came to post the picture I took with my camera and found that Mark had already posted his hahah.
I will post it anyway!
Mark was the first person from this wonderful board I ever met. And actually, we believe this is the first MLHH "intercontinental" meet up ever since I am from South America !! (How cool is that?)
We had a wonderful evening, had mexican food together and talked about everything. I hope I can meet other people from the board too. It's cool to go from the virtual space to the "real" one.
You both look absolutely awesome! And I'm glad a couple of the people on the board have gotten the chance to meet up! Great hair guys!

This picture is awesome - it really captures something very special, I think. I am so glad you got together - Dave, your desire to let us know you were in NYC and Mark, that you made the step to get to meet him - I am very happy about this intercontinental meet! And, I have to tell you - you both look amazing, handsome, gorgeous eyes and, of course, the hair! Must have been something to witness by those nearby.

I have to say it was an absolute honor to meet Dave and I'm thrilled he was close enough to me to make that possible.It's been a long time since I've met anyone for the first time from the mlhh even though I've done repeat visits with our California friends:)I know Dave wants to come back to NY so I'll be sure to meet him again:)Cheers

Indeed Mark. It's always nice to meet up with people you've "known" over the Internet. I actually met Aarne Bielefeldt a few weeks ago when he was in Phoenix to judge a beard competition. Keep it growing!

Over the years, lots of us have met each other, and it's great to have such a widely dispersed community where that is nevertheless the case. We are not a group of strangers, as a first glance at our site may suggest. I just looked at the Users' Directory, and I've met a dozen out of town guys who are listed there.
Mark, you've got to work on Dave a bit, and get him to come to San Francisco!
Dave, we'd really enjoy meeting you sometime. Because there's a lot to do in San Francisco, many MLHH guys have passed through here, and we always throw together a "welcoming party" when we learn someone from out of town is coming. We just know sometime you will be coming. Let us know when!

It is wonderful to meet people from MLHH. I have met several and all were very friendly. If you ever visit the left coast, look me up. In addition, there is Ken and Bill who live nearby too.

Yes, it is definitely fun to meet other MLHHers -- not only to see someone for the first time face-to-face; but also to finally hear their voice, and get a more complete image in mind of what that "online person" is really like in real-life!
So glad to hear you're enjoying your visit to NYC. It's a crazy-huge city (I lived there for 3 years myself, from '84 - '87); but an unforgettable one!

I have not met anybody from this forum, but have met up with people from other long hair forums (All of my meet-ups have been with long haired women).
