Well the deed is done.............
I just chopped of another seven inches to even up the ends.
I hated losing that much length but I also hated having the
bad ends. Before the deed it was four inches above waist length. So now i'm to keep the ends looking good and return to waist length.
Heartfelt sympathies, LHIA. Hope you find new routines to prevent a repeat of the kind of damage that led to the chop.

I'm looking for something to use on the ends. I'm going to try
the suggestion from Ken in San Francisco.
You'll be happier in the long run.
I had to do it about 8 years ago when my ends got thin after a long shedding cycle. The length was back in no time!
