I know I won't be able to hold a sufficient ponytail through the coming spring and part of the summer, but the heat will still be beyond what I'm used to, so I thought it'd be good to look around now for ways to keep my hair from sticking to my face and neck.
Besides regular hats, I messed around with an infinity scarf (think ninja mask) and even an old thin t-shirt. Both did the trick rather the same as a standard headband, although the scarf tube thing certainly looks more sleek.
Probably should just invest in a regular headband if I end up doing this a lot...
Just thought I'd share the results because it's randomly interesting to me. Definitely something I'll be doing in the future when I'm working and such
Caption in the pic says cheating the system. I think I meant cheating my way around the necessary length for a ponytail or something...
Hi VinYang,
I have to say that is a unique and interesting way to manage your hair is what is likely still an awkward stage. You can manage some sort of a ponytail but the band keeps the uncooperative hairs at bay :)Looks cool and tidy plus functional. It's always nice when guys share ideas like that to help others in need.Your hair looks great too and I can't wait to see it much longer:) Cheers

Not half bad of an idea, haha! I remember my awkward stage for sure, and for me, I simply wore it naturally. I actually thought it looked pretty decent, since my hair was much more wavy earlier in its' growing stages.
Maybe a small amount of gel or Brylcreem could do the trick.
