As moderator of the world famous MLHH men's longhair hyperboard I'd like to officially announce the addition of Dave_AR to the moderation crew.It's been a long time since our crew has expanded so after much consideration we wanted Dave to join us in our mission.We felt he fit our goals of what we need as a bored gatekeeper and I know he'll be an asset to us here.Thank you Dave for accepting as I was honored to have had the opportunity to personally invite you while on your vacation in NYC :)POP, the bubbly! Welcome, congratulations.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Dave on the translation of the "On Being a Longhair" FAQ. This was a rather large project, and I found Dave to have a great work ethic and a solid grasp of the skills needed to work with others towards the goal of timely completion of a project. These skills are important to working on the MLHH crew, and they will serve him and MLHH well. Dave also is a man firmly dedicated to our "cause" here, as you all know. He will be a great asset to MLHH.

I had the joy and privilege of being a MLHH Moderator also (from 2004 - '07). Although it is definitely "work" at times, the crew here do their best to make it as pleasant & fun as possible -- as well as so much of the behind-the-scenes technology that makes this site run so well is already in place, making your job even easier.

When Mark offered me this position while having dinner in NYC, I didn't really understand because the last person I thought that would be offered to be a moderator was me .
It is cool when people believe your skills and personality are appropiate to do something.

We as moderators all discussed potential candidates and we felt you would make a fine addition plus infuse a youthful perspective on the goings on around here.We try to achieve a nice cross section of guys on the crew and felt it needed a different point of view.The majority of the crew are from the US with the exception of David N. however we used to have guys from the UK.All I know is I want the best people to carry the touch so the mlhh can exist forever :) Welcome aboard my friend.Cheers

Beautifully stated, Bill, I couldn't agree more! I have a lot of fond memories of my 3 years of being one of the Moderators here, I viewed it as a great joy & privilege to be a part of MLHH Team, even though at times it was a lot of work behind-the-scenes... But now that I can sit back and enjoy just being a lazy bum (LOL), I actually appreciate MLHH and how well it runs even more now!
So, THANK YOU, to all Moderators and amazing Tech Crew Wizards alike (both past & present), for keeping this place going so smoothly!
