Hey guys I'm new to the site, I see there is alot of good info on here. I'm 27 and have always had really thick hair that stays in good condition. When I was little I had long straight hair that was curly at the ends. Is it possible that my hair will still do the same thing as it gets longer again. It has been probably mid - late summer since I last had a haircut and is finally long enough on the sides to push behind my ears.
First of all, Welcome to the board!
As far as I know, your hair will be the same since you can't change the nature of your hair, it's in your DNA and you will always be like this.
When I was a kid, my hair was always curly but people didn't noticed because my father gave me forced buzzcuts along the time.
I hope you grow it again, and if you feel confortable, why not post a pic of you nowdays?
Cheers!
I was trying to. I'm at work on my phone right now. Guess my picture is to big and I'm doing something wrong with linking a picture. I'll put one up after I get home. Thanks
A couple current pictures.

Gonna try to link this to an album with a couple pictures in it. Thanks for the reply. I haven't had long hair since I was little and am now at a point in my life that I'm confident enough to not let anything anyone says worry me. With that I'm letting my hair grow till either the heat breaks me "south", or the wife says its gotta go. Shes actually doesn't mind what i do with it either way. Looking forward to being a part of this community. Thanks
p.s. sorry if I'm doing something wrong with these messages.
Here is a current picture of my hair. Sorry for the quality I'm at work sitting up in a crane. I wear a hat about 90%of the time to keep it from poofing out to bad.
Well, you have great looking hair now and certainly did as a kid when it was long. From the preciseness of the corkscrews it really looks to me like mom was helping out with a curling iron now and then (as situation for which I envy, if so).
Anyway, hair texture and color does change as we mature, but from the looks of your hair now I would say it would be fairly straight with, perhaps, some waviness when long. The rich thickness of it guarantees it will look very full and probably great long, though. I think you'll love having it long again. And, hey, curling irons are cheap. :)
Thanks!
