An off topic question about photos,
I sent a photo to several people yesterday.
On my desktop and iphone the photo was upright.
But one of the guys I sent it to the photo was
sideways. Anyone know why that would happen and
how to fix it?

(One of the recipients is my father in law,
if I look at the photo on my computer it's straight up
when I access his email on my desktop. But when I access
his email on a Dell desktop elsewhere in the house
the photo is sideways. How is this even possible?)
(Both desktops use Windows 7, Thunderbird for email. The iphone is an iphone 5s.)
Those two pages are on my personal web site, and I put them there for the purpose of helping out MLHH users with the problem you are having. It's a frequent problem, so I suspect the pages get used a lot. We are just victims of all the different manufacturers going in different directions with their designs, without ever coordinating with each other. The pages on my site will help you straighten out the mess they have caused.
Because those two pages are on my web site, not the site of any snooping corporation, nobody ever sees if you use them. You know who made them (me), so you know they are completely safe to use. I retain no record of their use, so I really have no idea who uses them or how much. But I do know that they work, and you are welcome to use them anytime.
If the pages don't answer all of the questions any of you guys have, you are welcome to ask me such questions.
