I'm not too keen on making a lot of New Year's resolutions, unless I've already had some success at making improvements during the old year. But with that said, here are my hopes for 2015:
1) to lose some more weight
2) to improve my finances by saving more and spending less
3) to continue to protect my hair ends by applying beneficial oil to the lower half of my mane.
Anybody else feel like sharing their hopes for 2015? We're almost there!!
- Ken
1) To grow out my hair as fast as it will grow!
2) To chop up my bike and modify it to my liking.
3) To go on a weekend or extended motorcycle trip.
1. Change eating habits and lose about 20 pounds
2. Run a marathon
3.Keep growing hair out, and get front hairs long enough to touch my chin.
4. Complete the tattoo sleeve on my right arm (My left arm is done and lonely)
These are my new years resolutions:
1. Keep my long hair long.
2. Absolutely refuse to cut my hair.
3. Continue to wear the hair down and loose
most of the time.
4. Avoid damage to the hair by pony tailing it/
bun it/braid it/pig tail it when necessary to
avoid damage and only to avoid damage.
5. Keep all my grey hair grey.
6. Attempt to get my hair back to waist length
without any more damage.
7. In 2015 I hope to see lots of men growing their hair long.
We have too many short haired men, we need more to grow
their hair long.
RESPONSE
1. Make it to the awkward stage (hopefully beyond). :)
Above would be my goal. My first big goal is to make it to graduation without haircuts (2 and a half years), and my ultimate goal is to make it to about 26 inches.
love the pic. Kenny - this is my wish this year - as follows:-

Max Ehrmann, writer and lawyer (1872-1945)
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste and rememeber what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly. And listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant, for they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggresive persons, for they are vexatious to the spirit. Never compare yourself with others. You may become vain or bitter, for there will be always greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements, as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, however humble. It is a real possesion in the changing fortunes of life. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is. Many people strive for high ideals and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love. For in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings, for many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. You have a right to be there. And whether or not it is clear to you, the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him to be. And whatever your labours and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
Hi CEM.,
WOW, now that's what I call a response! THANK YOU!! What a cool read, a lot of "food for thought" there, I enjoyed reading every word of it!
Enjoy your summer!
(Ahemm... and don't worry about us in the frozen North here, shivering uncontrollably in the snow, picking the icicles and frost-killed flowers out of our hair, all alone in the long lonely darkness of winter... No, it's OK, no need for you to worry about us or feel any guilt that you're probably having a hell of a lot of fun in the sun right now, while we who live in a land far far away from you in the Northern hemisphere continue to suffer in silence -- uh, I-I-I mean, bemoan our season of misfortune and torture while trying not to whine TOO loudly about it...)
I learned about giving "guilt trips" from my mother -- she taught me well, didn't she? (LOL)

My resolution is to post more often. I have been quite absent here for the last 6 months or so.
Scott
That's something I will resolve to do too Scott.
I know, for me, it's way longer than 6 months.
Bruce
I have several resolutions this year:
#1:
I'm going to try to stop procrastinating. I say this even though I'm replying to Ken's thread 5 days later!
#2:
I'm going to stop blowing my top when the laws of physics win over my carelessness. (cup of coffee, center of gravity, edge of table.... you know the rest.
#3:
This goes along with #2, stay cool under all circumstances. Life is too short, especially when looking at it from this side 29 er 39 or something like that.
#4:
I'm going to try to post more often, not just lurk in the shadows of the internets.
Happy New Year all!
Bruce
