Hey brother longhairs,
I have been allowing my hair to grow freely for forty-six (46) months. I have not trimmed nor cut my hair. My hair has grown to be collar bone length and has not shown any growth in length for several months. If this is terminal length for me then so be it. However, is there something I could do to foster further growth in length?
Your longhaired bro,
Raymond
Terminal length is just that: it won't grow any longer. Occasionally you might get some surprise additional growth; but in my experience, this is only temporary, as it soon sheds anyway. I've heard of some guys taking vitamin B and/or biotin pills; but I'd advise being careful to research that sort of thing very thoroughly, know what you're doing about it -- and any potential down-sides to consuming specific vitamins on a regular basis. I'd rather have overall excellent health than to focus too much on hair health only.

Thanks Ken, Good advice
Ignore it for 6 months. Benign neglect. Measure it at the summer solstice and see if there is any change.
I share with you are very frustratingly short terminal length.
I went 15 years with no cutting and could only make nipple
length when stretched taut, shoulder length in its natural curly
frizzy state. I guess we just have to live with it.
Hey MG,
I would like my hair to grow the length of my body but if collar bone length is as long as it is going to grow I'll take it. It's my hair.
I think it's somewhat rare not to be able to grow to waist length, although by that I mean natural waist, which is a lot higher than where most people would wear a belt. That said, as you grow older it may be that terminal is shorter than that.

Hey elektros,
I have suspected that this was the case for me. Nevertheless, whatever length my hair grows out to I'll take it and celebrate it. It's my hair and it's long.
Raymond
Hey Ray,
I know how you feel, my last cut was 11-2009, and only recently I have seen more than shoulder length, I am taking Biotin 5000mcg. (Even though it is still thinning, it is making me happy that it is growing)...
All the best.... The Spaf Man
Hey The Spaf Man,
I'm taking biotin also. I feel the same way; whatever length I reach, it's my hair and it's growing. Thank God!
Hey Raymond....
Your hair is long dude...and it's only been 46 months....i reckon you still have some growth and thickening to experience yet!

Ps...at 6 and a half months...pics very soon
