I decided to start a blog to document the process of growing out my hair and published my first post today, detailing the history of my hair.
The picture I attached is one that can be found in my post.
It is me in 8th grade, and 10th grade right after my parents forced me to cut my hair for the picture.

I like your blog. Please continue to post updates. Keep all scissors and razors away from your head. Dismiss any thoughts of getting a trim as a bad idea. Just let your hair grow naturally to terminal length.

I didn't have free rein to grow my hair until around my mid 30s. It's great that you're starting earlier. I'll always wonder what kind of hair I could have grown if I had started in my teens...
