Hi there!
I hope it's everything fine with you.
Alright, I didn't posted an update in the last month for the 23 months photo, because it doesn't make too much difference for just a short time (1 month) so I decided to make a new update a month later.
Since I learned to properly tie my hair, I can do this already in a couple of seconds and more confortable for making my activities (cooking, fixing computers and etc) plus getting easy to manage since it doesn't do a lot of tangles and for evading the hot weather (like we're having around here).
I can say that I'm already in love with my hair since I've reached 8 months and since the "Awkward" moment got away (One of the most worse Awkward Stages IMHO) and I can finally look myself in the mirror and say that I'm looking and being myself now, I just don't got words to say how I'm loving my hair long (never reached that mark before, first time), still it isn't in the lenght I want, I want more.
Maybe I'll start thinking about doing some trimmings around June or August, since I don't wanna lose all the lenght I already got.
Things are going fine now, my family finally stopped with the complaints about me and my hair because, well, let's just say we're going through difficult times again.
Since my mother suffered that trail accident and broke her ankle and a small part of the leg, now she has been diagnosed with hiatal hernia and gallstones and she need to do an emergency surgery ASAP, because the condition is very serious.
And, here I will be to do everything in the house again, like in the last accident but, this time it will be easy because I already had enough experience taking care of everyone around here myself.
Take care everyone!
Your hair looks great and I hope your mother recovers. Hang in there! Your family is lucky to have a man like you.
Darrin
Thanks for the kinda words Darrin, I've have faith that she'll be out of this storm very soon.
Take care my friend!
I took a picture for showing how my hair looks when it's tied.
Looks pretty good in my opinion.
Picture showing how it looks from the back (I've trying to get all the lenght in one picture)
Dude! That looks incredible! I knew that all you had to do, was wait it out, and your hair would eventually start to fall, due to how curly it is. It looks fantastic! You're surely envied by many!
Hahaha, no doubts about being envied, even my mother says now that my hair is looking better than hers, also I've received a lots of compliments from other family members that they hadn't seen me for years.
Can't you believe this was me in a year ago? What a difference and Yep, this picture was taken during the awkward stage
I didn't received any compliments from random people yet, but I know that I attract some attention and they keep staring a lot at me hahaha.
Thanks for the kinda words dude!
Take care
Hey 'Guil' - congrats. on the 2. year milestone - a great update - you've amazing curl with such full body & I can see why you want more length ... due to your curl - your progress will seem slower than those of us with str8./ wavy hair ... your ability to tie it up is key, so you can get on with your life unencumbered & deal with all the pressing issues that prevail - but all the while, whilst you traverse all of lifes challenges = your hair grows - & with patience & steadfastness - longer length you will have - good luck with all that you face ... cheers CEM.
Thanks for the kinda words my friend, in those two years I've learned a precious lesson in that journey, "Patience is the Key".
Cheers!
You're doing great, and your hair is so wonderful and thick. I look forward to seeing photos of different ways of tying it up.
I suggest you don't do any trimming for a long time. You do need more length if you want to do buns as well as a ponytail.
I'm sorry to hear of the difficulties in your family, and I hope everything goes well for your mother in hospital.
Boa sorte!
Anthony
