Hey mlhh, I've been regrowing my hair for the second time after losing all it length due to having it burnt ( 2 years were lost T_T ). I wanna your advice about trimming it now.
last time I trimmed it was 8 months ago, so should I trim it again or not. also If you guys can give me some advice about how to take a better care of my hair.
Seeing as I'm quite new to this experience, just to give you a heads up, I would not trim it. It looks incredibly good at the moment, and I think trimming it now would negatively impact your growth.
Dear Yahia,
There's nothing in the pictures that screams "Trim me!" Why is it that you think a trim might be in order?
There's also nothing obvious from the picture that says your hair care routine is lacking. Mot of us on MLHH take a 'less is more' attitude. What is it about your hair that makes you think you might need a different routine?
BTW your hair, at least in the pictures, looks just lovely. I hope you appreciate the degree of natural curl you produce.
All the best...
Don
Don,
Thanks for your kind words. I think i was worried about my hair as i don't know much about how to take care of it.
I'll take your advice and i'll let it grow even more :)
DO NOT TRIM! You're only going to prolong the wait to get back to your length goal.
I wouldn't trim it. I think it looks great and it is coming in nicely, no need for a trim.
Thx guys I appreciate your replies. and I'l let it grow even more.
Really exited for the next update ^^
Its looking great with no big taper whatsoever.... but once u get to a certain lenght, learning how to trim your own locks its actually pretty helpful... no bad hairdresser experiences getting scissor happoy and you shape your hair the way you like...
Thats what I do with mine and its getting so much better with very little micro trims.... Let it go for other 6 months I say and then think about it again.

Hi Yahia - Looking great there - your hair will always have amazing body & movement - let it grow & hide the scissors ... hair care tips = less is more: ( just enjoy a low-fuss regime, where growth & length are your main focus & watch as it grows longer & longer day by day ) - = never use heat: ( air dry only ), don't over wash: only when oily looking, always condition, avoid chemicals if possible, & avoid knot events: ( by brushing daily ) - your off to a great start - have fun - cheers CEM.
