This may be a frequently asked question but, how long does it usually take to get to shoulder length? My goal is to be at my shoulders by the time I graduate, which is a little over 2 years away, so how long do you think it will take?
I donnot know how long your hair is currently. Hair grows on average .5 inches per month. That being said, you may have 6inches of grow per year. Some people's hair grows faster and some slower.

Hair grows at 1/2 inch per month. You can do the math.
You should be able to achieve shoulder length or slightly longer, in two years time.
The back should hit the shoulders after 6 months of no trims (from the nape of the neck). The front takes just under two years, give or take, as long as there are no trims made from that point on.
Hair growns at 1/2 inch per month (1.25 cm) for a normal guy, but it depends on what you eat and your metabolism which varies from person to person.
Cheers!
That depends on how long your hair is when you first start counting, how fast your hair grows, and how long your neck is. [wink] A rough estimate, not knowing all those things, would be between a year and two, so "a little over 2 years" sounds like the answer is, "You're good!"
I'll add, "without any trimming", of course! Stay away from sharp instruments.

Hi Erik,
I would think you will be well below shoulder length after 2 years. Your hair appears to be straight and this type of hair shows length faster than more wavy/curly hair. Of course, this is without doing any trimming or anything like that. I do believe your hair will look awesome at longer lengths though. Please keep it growing! Please keep us upddated and stay well my friend!
