It's finally been a year since I started growing it out from a business/brush cut. Of course, I got a "trim" recently that wound up nixing two more inches off than I'd like!
Haven't washed my hair in a few days, so I've been going for the surfer look. It gets curlier when I don't wash, and it doesn't fall nearly as far down as when it's wet.
Think it will take another 18 months before it naturally falls at my shoulders? That's my goal.

You'll reach your goal before you know it! I'd say eight months.
So sorry your stylist took off two inches! That truly sucks. I hate it when that happens.
It's tough to find the right stylist. Mine has waist length hair himself, so he's always careful!
