Does anyone trim their own hair? I personally cannot and luckily I have a good stylist. I saw a method on another board, and I donot see how anyone could do it correctly.

I now do it myself. After too many times of being screwed by
arrogant stylists who think they know better about what kind
of hair cut I need I now trim it myself.
When I tell them I want one inch trimmed off that means
one inch, not ten.
I had one stylist I trusted, that shop closed up 16 years ago.
Haven't found a trusted stylist since then.
