Hi everyone! Although I don't post here much at all I am aware of this board and enjoy lurking here, so perhaps permit me a little introduction;
I'm Invicta, of Invicta's Art Photography and I'm probably the worlds only Longhair photographer. That's all I shoot.
I'll be travelling to Las Veags in April and was just wondering if any of you live there and might want to book a shoot? I actually live in northern California, near Eureka but travel semi-frequently for shoots.
I'll also be creating a self published magazine called Longhairs Magazine in the not so distant future and I'd love your input on what kinds of sections might be interesting for you?
I'll be honest, 80% of my following are females over 35 I think, so my subjects tend to be what they want to see, however I do hope to broaden my audience in time to include Longhaired men themselves as well so any input you have I gladly take into consideration. :)
Meanwhile I currently have an Indiegogo campaign to help fund this trip, it's pretty funny, I thought. Might bring you a chuckle. If you would like a shoot, you can book through donation, if you're in town. Or even on the way to Vegas somewhere.
Looking forward to posting here from time to time when I have something you might be interested in. You can see a lot more of my work on my Facebook page under Invicta's Art Photography.
Thank you and have a wonderful day everyone!

One thing I think would be cool is to have a before/after section on long hair men, with a twist.... Find men with shorter hair and have them get long hair extensions, and set them out in the world to give feedback on how they feel or maybe how they're treated differently, or maybe if the experience would encourage them to grow their natural hair long.
Might as well share my story then --
I went to college with short hair, and then came back with long hair (One year's growth, but since I never trimmed the back the layers all melded together and it looked like I had upper back length hair)
I also went from clean-shaven to a sage's beard (It's 2 inches now; it was originally just over an inch long)
Do people treat me differently?
For one female friends don't want to talk to me as much since I grew out my hair. Then again, as I'm a known member of one of the more infamous men's boards on the internet, that may be a confounding factor. (If you'd like to discuss *that* with me, I'm more happy to discuss this via email or the chat room... no need to clog up this board)
I don't get treated worse, mostly because I don't tolerate bad treatment by others. Also, having the dominant/aggressive personality helps with not getting a pushover.
The only person that I've had trouble with was my mother... Then again, I've never had a good relationship with her anyways, so that was a non issue.
My teachers from high school didn't mind, even though I went to a Christian high school.
Neither did my church. Although for propriety's reasons, I had to tie back my hair the few times I preached. (Although since I usually stay at the soundbooth, that was a nonissue most of the time).
As I keep on saying, there's really now only one rule for being a man -- don't be a weakling.
