Just needed to share with like-minded guys. I'm 16 and until this afternoon had blonde hair to the middle of my back- my pride and joy! My dad was really angry about my quarter grades so he sat me down in my room and buzzed me completely bald. When I looked in the long mirror and saw how ridiculous I looked bald and in my underwear I couldn't stop crying. My friends came over and couldn't stop laughing at me. I don't want my girlfriend to see me. Do you think a long hair wig would help or would I look dumb? What should I do when I go back to school?

The first thing i'd suggest is get your grades up in the next
quarter. Maybe if your grades are much better your dad will let
you grow your hair long again(since it was at mid back)? I would suggest not getting a wig, use the image of your short hair as an incentive to get your grades up and keep them up.
I'm so sad for what happened, your father reactions reminded me some of my father did to me and believe me, it wasn't about my grades but his image about what others going to say to him, he didn't let me grown more than 3-5 cm of hair, past that he was scheduling an appoitment to the barber in the next day, giving me a forced buzzcut.
My advise for you is, try to recover those bad grades you got along the year and make your father to say nothing more about you (Like my father said, the best punishment for a son is to remove something he loves/like) and one of the most things your loved was? Yes, your hair paid the price for this but, don't let this go down on you, get up, be strong and recover those grades and make your father happy.
Strangely enough, you maded a post quite similar to this in 2013 and instead of your father being the main protagonist, it was your girlfriend that was founding out you were seeing another girl and cut your hair while you were sleeping and in the next day, you went for a buzzcut in the barber.
I'm not saying you're lying, but it's a mere coinscidence.

I am sorry to hear about your Dad's way of disciplining you. Good news is that it sounds like you just need to get those grades up and your Dad will not take issue with your longhair, as others said.
I agree a wig is bad idea and I am sure you will be made fun of for wearing one. Just be open about what happened, and ignore the haters. They aren't worth the time and effort of caring about their chiding. Keep those grades up and let it grow!
