Hello dear hair bros,
Its getting very humid and hot in mumbai.. and heat is bad for hair.. still going strong towards my goal of shoulder length hair..
i wish i could grow my hair like littlebirdlonghair( for all those who remember him).
a picture of me today after office hours..

Really appreciate the advice and guidance given by fellow long hair bros:
1)Patrick brands- brother in india its somewhat difficult to get good jobs. fortunately for me i got in the national reinsurance company of my country at officer level last year.. its a great opportunity to learn ..i had a talk with my immediate boss also regarding this so he said as far as you remain presentable at office he has no issue with length of hair.. patrick your hair are growing very nicely keep it up..
2)long hair in albany- you are a really lucky man to have had long hair for such a long time.. i will also try to be me and have hair of my choice just like you..
3)Skunk Ape- going by your advice i went through my company's service rules handbook.. fortunately there is nothing there about lenght of hair..but if HR dept feels to add something if need arises it could be a problem.. lets hope that day never comes..
4)Ken in SF- ken you are a role model for me.. all these 5-8 years of lurking at this forum in past you are one of person who has been there consistently and i really admire your hair.. in response to your suggestions, iam already financially independent and live in mumbai all by myself.. in office i always put some coconut oil or hair cream to keep hair in place..and also trying to let the front portion get longer...
5)silverthorne aka daniel- u r absolutely correct ..this is the longest hair i ever had.. trying to reach the lump stage and cross it soon..iam using coconut oil regularly and also avoiding harsh shampoo.. i shampoo once in 15 days.. your idea of outperforming my collegues at office in dressing sense is working wonders for me.. thanks bro..
6)Ted: thanks ted.. your long hair journey on the board has been phenomenal..keep praying for me.. really appreciate...
thank you all...
front...
Thank you.
As far as heat goes I always keep my hair long in the summer.
Much of the summer i'm wearing cut off shorts, no shirt and
my hair long and loose. The hair keeps me cool and provides shade.
At the age of 60 i've never considered having short hair in the summer. So each summer it stays long.
Hi samlonghair1,
Thanks a bunch for your very nice comments! I will certainly be praying for you my friend! Just let your hair grow and flow! Stay cool!
Ted
You have gorgeous thick hair. You are going to have an incredible mane when it's long!
