I never have been one to use conditioner much, but I used some yesterday after shampooing and WOW, it made my hair so soft and manageable. I'm hooked on using it now.
Hi David,
Conditioner is your friend. Especially when having and growing long hair.
Darrin
I seem to be unable to use it often due to how much oil my scalp produces on its own. I also seem to have to wash my hair at least every other day or it looks greasy and stringy to me.
Patrick: I used to be like you, but I found out if I shampoo'd less often my hair didn't require shampooing as often. Instead I wash with conditioner only (referred to as a CO wash) on most days and reserve shampoo for those days when my hair is too dirty or oily for conditioner by itself. Try it sometime, you may be pleasantly surprised.

I will give that a shot sir :) Thank you !
I never used conditioner when I had short hair and usually used body soap and shampoo only when the dandruff really started to flake all over the place.
I started using conditioner and a good shampoo when I started growing my hair. I no longer have dandruff and my scalp is in better health (I had a bad psoriasis attack some years ago). Conditioner smooths and softens the hair and keeps it oiled. I especially need it as my hair is very dry (like my late mother's) and all white.
You learn to take care of your hair when it gets long, like never before when it was short and we didn't care about it.
