My hair is starting to get near the level I want it (down a little past my chin) and now I'm constantly being compared to celebrities (I'm not complaining, I like it). The one I most frequently get is "snipe" from the movie harry potter (I do look exactly like him, except my hair is a bit more flat). I've also got Trent Reznor and kurt cobain (i dunno) among others. Do you guys get any comparisions to famous people (with a possible exception being jesus)?
In 1978 - 1979 I was compared to Mario Kempes - player in the Argentinian national soccer team of 1978 World Championship fame. More recently I am compared to Richard Stallman - founder and chairman of the Free Software Foundation and the author of Emacs and GNU compilers. And those who do not know Stallman compare me to Jesus...

Nobody. I'm just my own long haired classic rocker. None of that grunge, punk, metal, rap, or any other sub-standard music for me.
I play a lot of hockey and my friends are always comparing me to Pavel Bure, I only wish it was because of my skill rather than my hair, lol.
This guy has the EXACT same hair type as me, never seen anything closer.

i've been told i look like brett hartt, triple h, jim morrison (before facial hair)... my current g/f thinks i look like a young king richard & has suggested i attend an upcoming rennaissance faire in upstate new york.
i've been told i look like Mick Foley, considering i am like Mick's biggest fan (just look at my screen name hehe)

i may or may not attend.

I remember a few years ago going to a big off site lunch and people commenting on how it looked like "the last meal".
I don't see it that much either, but people always say that.
I've also heard Marilyn Manson, Alice Cooper, and Metallica's Kirk Hammet.
It seems to depend on whether I have a goatee, a full beard, or no facial hair. And that changes frequently. I vary my shaving habits quite a bit!

I should have also mentioned that my id card at work recently expired, so I took it out of its protective holder to insert the replacement. There was an after-image embedded into the holder that looked very much like the image on the shroud of Turin. If anyone's interested, I'll scan it and put a copy up here.
