Hey, guys I used this site back in the day (about 3 years ago was the last time), posted a couple of picture 'n' such. Long story short I have transitioned to female and of course I still love men with long hair and it's good to see this site doing well and some really beautiful maines on here.
I have struggled with dry straggly hair all my life and have tried a lot of different ways to try and sort the problem. (now I am all for using virtually no product of any type. (water is my main source of cleaning with air drying these days) but to no avail!.
Can anybody suggest anything I can do?
Very little in the way of split ends and it's treated like silk but no luck I guess :(.
Much appreciated and hope you are all having a wonderful day and life!
*Note*
The color change of my hair was due to my hormone medication went from Blackish (while I was balding) back to Blonde (now it's all growing back)
Your needs would be very special. I can only suggest you seeing the doctors who supervised the surgery and hormone treatment you have received. Perhaps there needs to be some "fine-tuning"
The impression I get is that you have grown your hair like I did, without any trims. I'm not suggesting trimming, but the back hair will be thinner than the rest because the rest hasn't caught up. What's your growth rate like?
Thankyou for reply :), You would be spot on there, I very rarely trim, maybe once every 6-8 months typically take about an inch off, then after about two weeks my hair is back to a straggled texture.
My growth rate is average (roughly .94 per month). but the side are notably slower *sigh*
Did you face similar issues with a little to trimless grow?
