Hey guys, new poster here. 18 Months ago I buzzed my head (2mm all around) and haven't gotten it cut since. Going for 2 years and then I will decide what to do with it from there!

Your hair looks awesome for eighteen (18) months of growth. I know that it is your decision, however, I think that you should consider going for terminal length.

I wish I had grown mine like that when I was your age, but better late than never. I'm coming up to 21 months.
Your hair is magnificent and you have lovely curls. It's up to you how far you go, but I hope you don't go and cut it!

Hair is looking long and shiny! You're almost at the 2 year mark, very exciting.
Yes, I agree. It's when hair really starts getting long. Going by averages, it takes two years to grow a foot of hair. As people on this board know, I have done no trimming or anything other than routine weekly washing (rinsing more often in very hot weather) and daily brushing and combing. I'm also lucky at age 56 not to have had any balding. My temples have receded a little and the top is thinner than it used to be - but it's not bad.

Your head of thick wavy hair is one of the best I have seen! You are very lucky to have such great hair. I have to say I am a little jealous, even though my own is thick too. I hope you keep it long and let it just do its thing as I think it will just be better and better. It looks in very good condition, however you are caring for it. Good luck with it, I am sure you are the envy of most here. sj
