My hair is near middle back (drk blonde and real heavy) and I usually wear a beard, sometimes mustache. This morning I was feeling a little too hairy and ended up with my beard shaved completly off, first time clean shaven in a couple years). How do you guys feel about others guys with long hair and facial hair, what looks the best in your opinion (full beard, goatee, mustache, clean shaven, etc). I have thick beard growth that is several shaded darker then my hair, which I wish they both matched. I would appreciate your thoughts. Later, Brad

Thanks for your opinions. I think I'll grow the beard back, and maybe post some pics and again ask your opionion. At that point I could shave it into pretty much anything. Thanks!

depends on the person. facial hair (and long hair) suits some people & not others.
I think a beard and long hair are great together, that is, if you can grow a decent beard. I'm planning on one this fall, but there's nothing good about a beard that is patchy. I also think the dark beard with the lighter hair is cool looking, reminds me of a lot of guys that I thought looked cool when i was younger, ie. bands, bikers, etc...
I like both long hair and full beards. They look great together.
i really think the beard and long hair combo looks better on bigger and/or heavyer guys than it would on skinny or really short guys

i have a full beard and long hair (although it may not be considered long by most people here yet hehe)
but it seems to work since i'm what you would "big boned" hehe lol
one thing i can't explain though is why my whole beard dosent grow at the same rate
i can grow a full beard on th elower part of my chin and sides in about 2 weeks but the hair on my upper lip will take over a month to get the same length as the rest, anyone know why?

Years back I also had a beard of THREE COLORS...count them...3!
...at least 3 maybe more....BROWN, RED & BLOND...
....but my Body must have rejected it casue it was always

I've had longhair with long sideburns since my freshman year of highschool, and grew a scrawny goatee in my sophmore year, but never was content with the look until I grew a long, full beard. It really compliments the hair. I think it ties it together, as well, whereas the cleanshaven look (on me at least) looked out of place with long, curly hair.
I'd like to see a variety of hair styles. Individuals should have the right to choose how they want their hair to look. I have long hair and small beard. I wish society would let me grow my beard out to beyond the bushy stage--when it gets so long the beard behaves more like long hair.
