Im a Black Male short hair who is trying to grow his hair out but every time I wash and shampoo my hair it's just gets nappy i hate it!
I know it takes time too grow but as it grow I want it feel and look shiny and soft help me please!!!!!!!!!!
This just might be a UK/US language thing but I'm not sure what you mean by "nappy"?

look would be fairly accurate.
Per Webster's Third New International Dictionary:
Nappy: KINKY - used esp. of Negroes' hair.
Though that's a 40 year old dictionary - given to me new when I was in high school - I have never seen the term myself except on this board. I dove for the dictionary the first time I saw it. Outside the black community, I'd venture the term's use is probably not very common here in the U.S. (that's a U.S. dictionary). Or maybe it's a regional term such as Southern. Can't say as for the U.K. As an Anglo guy who mostly hangs with other Anglo guys, the term I've always heard used for hair like blacks have is "kinky".

hmmmm... nappy. I'd say that's a good word to describes blacks hair. I've heard the term quite often. BTW, I live in the northern U.S.
I remember a song that goes something like this: "then I grabbed the stupid b*tch by her nappy a** weed... heh
