Hey guys here is my new "Selfie" that I took on 22 July 2015 at 3 PM. I had spent the day out in my garden. a whole quarter acre behind me from the deck. I have been trying to find ways to have easy maintenance just to busy to really bother it so much as my main is growing towards terminal length. So it has been a learning experience using no shampoo for over 2 weeks. This morning I did condition with Aveda (One Squirt) worked into wet hair and left in while I showered then rinsed with cool water. I have been really turned on using Coconut oil organic from the grocery up the street (about the size of a dime) warmed with my body heat in my hands after using a wide toothed comb and towel dried. I just shake my head and the curls come back as my hair dries. This picture is 8 hours after I had showered and 1 hour after working out in the sun in my garden.
Hey Silverthorne AKA Daniel,
Awesome hair, dude!
You have grown it out naturally. Thanks for sharing your hair maintenance tips. I would like to try coconut oil and olive oil for my hair. I would like to try your conditioner.
BTW, I hope to plant a vegetable garden next year.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
Lol dude, you look a whole lot more masculine than I expected when I saw that one post of yours about the guy with dreads.
If caring for another human in need made me less masculine I guess guilty as charged. For my efforts I lost my Burley bike trailer, nearly the seat to the bike but at least the bike made it home in one piece. My house is back in one piece and the rose garden saw more action than it had in a coons age. Chris was a no show for pancakes and he hooked up with other homeless and half of them had shorter dreads so he is history. Will be a week tonight and I am not going out to find him again that was a lot of energy expended and now I have my own selfie. I looked at your picture DUDE your hair is awesome. Bye the bye over my right shoulder are my Whisper roses I trimmed them tall the garden is below the deck railing and over my left is a pair of Climbing Iceburg roses starting the second bloom.
I appreciate the positive sentiment, and your hair is awesome as well! And you've got a pretty bizarre sounding life, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. Have a good one!
Not sure of what you expected "O Duinn" and I agree bizarre is putting it mildly and with hair like yours you too could be the Phantom of the Opera or just a Vine Ripened Tomato I have dibs on the Turtle at the snare drum one of a kind and they hopefully cracked the mold. Curious I invite you to write me privately or go look at our sister Blog on Long Hairs you know where to find it. John posted me today 7/25/15.
I literally don't understand half of the things you type, to be wholly honest. I don't know if it's because a lack of punctuation, or what. Lol
Sorry I was trying and probably failing miserably to be funny. Mixing two different thoughts and trying to keep out of trouble with Ken who maybe is or was a friend in the private sense. If you could Private message me I could explain or are you on Facebook?
Let me look at what I wrote to see if I can be any clearer.
