Washed my hair this morning. Thought I'd share the result!
Thanks to James K and Little Bird Long Hair for the inspirations to finally let my hair grow long. I do NOT regret it one bit!

Thank you SJ! And yes, I've been wanting to have long hair since I was young...but never was able due to a strict upbringing.... then work constraints. I guess better late than never!

I've been growing my hair since June 2010. However, I've cut them in November 2012 to shoulder length (one length) when pressured by my S.O. The good result was that I ended up getting greater thickness. The unfortunate part is that I sacrificed too much length as I would have gotten the same thickness effect with a shorter cut....Today, my hair would have probably been 4 inches longer...But I'd rather look ahead and think positive!
My routine is fairly simple: I wash my hair almost daily with the Giovanni 2Chic Keratin & Argan Oil shampoo & conditioner. I also have 100% confidence in my stylist who trims the ends every 6 months. She's been supporting me since day 1. Needless to say, I'm her male customer with the longest hair ever....and she loves it!!!
Finally, yes, I intend to grow hair much longer...as long as they remain strong & healthy.

Sweet the man that I copied my inspiration to let it grow from shaving my head had about the same length as yours and that was 3 and a half years ago. Awesome my friend just awesome. His hair was fun and I am really glad that I did.

Thank you Carter! Yes, I'm wearing a bun when I need to be "more formal"....I don't know if it's a samurai one or not but the one I do works for me. Actually, I found out with time that women have a tendency to touch my hair more when it's up, always wondering the actual length of my hair...It's a great ice breaker when starting up an interesting discussion....!
