Hey, gang! Haven't posted an update photo in a while. Last week, my wife Clara nad I took a brief winter holiday in Cairns, in the north of Queensland. She took the photos I'll attached to this and several followup posts. As ou can see, one day I was wearing a plait and on one day a ponytail.
The interesting thing is that Clara even took the photos. Maybe it means that she's warming to my wearing long hair...or perhaps just resigned to it? Time will tell...

I visited Cairns once, with my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew back in '93 (if I'm remembering correctly). My brother was on a business trip at the time, so the rest of us just followed him around and had fun while he worked (LOL)! Cairns is just beautiful (and I love how everyone pronounces it like "cans" -LOL), as well as I fell in love with the rest of Australia.
Your hair is looking superb -- I especially love the wild & windy look!

Wow, your hair as grown so much...I love the thickness. Glad to see someone close to you starts liking your long hair more and more (sure wish it was my case....).

Hey, CEM...been thinking about you Sydneysiders suffering through this winter...don't think we're not sympathetic! :-) Yeah, Cairns wuz nice. I've been trying four years to get up there for their ukulele festival in July, still no luck. Maybe next year!
I'm afraid Clara isn't much help with the plaits; I've had to learn to do it myself. Took more than a few tries before I finally got the hang of it. Kinda hard when you can't see what yer doin'!
