What is the difference between skinny jeans
and skin tight jeans?

  IMO skinny jeans are skin tight. But that may be the British
  definition. Here in the USA anything slightly narrower than
  regular jeans seems to qualify as skinny such as Levis 511.

  Some fat guy in jeans a few sizes too small is wearing skin-tight jeans.
  A skinny guy wearing skin-tight jeans is wearing skinny jeans.
