Gentlemen: if any of you would be so kind as to post a recent or even old photo of yourself with a nicely coiffed long long pony tail (at least half way between the male nipples to the navel. We have been asked that the photo have some body to the hair curled at the ends and reasonably styled with the tail over your left shoulder showing slightly curly (not straight) body of the hair as long as possible would be great. It is not your face or body that is required the hair will be used as a sitting for a painting portrait that I am having done for a show coming up soon. I am re posting this request at the other Long Hair thread. We will be looking for dirty blond to brown natural color or Red Blond to brown again natural color Again it is the hair that is to be portrayed not you the person. Thanks for your help

A strong suggestion here: If you do choose to participate turn off the GPS feature on your camera. Otherwise the photo will
indicate where you live. (The GPS co-ordinates are embedded in the photo and can be read by others.)
Please what is wrong with you to even write something as vicious as that and you don't even have the hair that I was looking for. You are sadly mistaken of my intentions. No the idea was beauty and you are not in the running with an attitude like that it would show really ugly no matter what we tried to do to improve on your spirit. Silverthorne
Let me put it this way: i'm 61 years old now, and i've come across these things before. I've had long hair since 1964. 99% of the time these videos/tv shows/etc. slam long hairs, shame them into cutting their hair and make them look bad. Your video may be different and show us long hairs in a positive light, but i'm very doubtful here. This comes from many years of experience.
So i'll remain doubtful until I see a final product that doesn't slam guy with long hair.
BTW, even if I had the right hair type I would not do it,
too many trips down this road over the years. You may be on the level with this but it goes against the prvailing tide.

Well, unfortunately I have no ponytail pics (probably because I rarely wear my hair in a tail - LOL); but I do have this braid pic....
As the saying goes, "Close, but no cigar?" No thanks, I don't smoke!

Ken, I have written privately a complete explanation of my plan and what the ponytail will represent thank you so much for your post. If we could entice you to participate with a full and free flowing picture I am sure that we could make it work the idea is as I have explained to represent what my hair may look like in a few years thanks for your interest and entry.
