Hello everyone! I've looked at this site a few times (definitely more) and thought to post something. Decided to grow the hair out after three job interviews and didn't get the job. It was then I shrugged my shoulders and grow the hair out. Good news is that I'm working, although it's only for the summer. The pics were taken in the employees restroom (yes it need repairs).
There were times, even a few days ago about cutting it, other times felt like keeping it. Overall, learned that growing hair is like having a relationship with the self?
What do I know...
These pictures were taken on 8/13/2015. Ancestral lineage is Cambodian with a hint of Chinese and here for the duration for this incarnation...
Great website!
Hey Joe,
Welcome to the tribe, bro.
Awesome hair!
Raymond
Your hair looks great! Don't cut it dude.
Welcome to the board !! :) It takes courage, patience, and a true understanding of yourself to stay with the journey on obtaining long hair. I can honestly say that during my 15 month journey thus far, that I have shown strength of character that I didn't realize that I had. It takes a strong mental fortitude to stick with your convictions in the midst of negativity, and opposing opinions. Stay strong my friend, and please keep us updated on your progress. Take care !
Hi Joe,
First of all: Welcome to MLHH!!!
Secondly, if you do cut your hair back to short someday, chances are that you will deeply regret it -- at least I know I did when I cut mine from waist-length to average-looking "short", which was over 15 years ago (on the first day of summer, in 2000).
To quote a fellow longhair, and former co-worker of mine, "Easy to cut, hard to grow!"
My best to you -- and again, WELCOME!
