Hey guys :) just wanted to post a quick update on my own hair growth journey. I am officially 15 months and 1 week in. Take care all !

Patrick your hair looks awesome man! That waves are legit. I hope my hair gets that wavy-I can see some waves now but I hear they are more pronounced as you grow it out.
Currently at 5 months-so I'm pretty early in the journey. Started out at a 1 1/4 inches on top and 1/4 on the sides ( #2)
Do you have any tips for the journey? I have a cowlick in the front center of my head so my hair is just now starting to fall into my forehead. Soon I will probably start using headbands!
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my post Wes. I appreciate the kind words. You are going to have awesome hair as well. I can just tell that it is going to be epic the longer it gets. As for advice, I recommend using biotin supplements as well as biotin/collagen based shampoo. Due to the fact that my scalp produces enough oil naturally, I only condition my hair about once every 2 weeks. I shampoo every other day. You might be able to go 3 to 4 days or more between washes depending on oil production. When you get to the 1 year mark in growth, things really start to get easier. You will love the way your longer hair naturally lays and the way it feels on your neck. It is a new experience for sure. Headbands will definitely be your new best friend especially if you like to work on cars like myself :) just enjoy the journey and the changes that your hair will go through. It will be worth it.
