Here's a pretty fun op about men with "man buns" at Disneyland. It's apparently an instagram account dedicated to men with man buns at Disneyland.
It seems like there are a whole lot of young longhairs out there now.
Man Buns of Disneyland
Love it. Long hair is great no matter how you wear it. Glad to see more men wearing their hair long.
Albany,
It was on my facebook feed, and let me say, the comments, mostly by women were very negative, and often equating longhairs with gay men, transgender women, or just effeminate men. I was left scratching my head in confusion.
Thanks for sharing that article. I've noticed more men in South Florida wearing their hair in buns. Hopefully the trend will continue.
Is this you? I'm not sure how that's a bun. It's more of a walnut... lol
Ouch! Apparently you had a good laugh over my appearance. I thought this was supposed to be a supportive group. I was trying to add a small photo (like you have) next to my name, but obviously I did not do it correctly. I do not have a man bun - I am just starting to grow my hair long. If you looked below the photo then you saw that I was simply thanking you for posting the article. I'm not sure I want to continue to participate in this group if this is the type of reception that is given to new people here.
Hi Mr. Bamboo,
We welcome new people to MLHH all the time -- regardless of current hair length, age, race, national origin, etc. Obviously the guy replying to your comment misunderstood your response to him in the first place. Please don't let one person's misunderstanding and insensitivity discourage you from participating in this forum!
Anyway, my apologies for being a bit late in saying this to you, but here goes in spite of my tardiness: Welcome to MLHH!!!
Sincerely,
Ken in San Francisco, California
Welcome to MLHH!!!
Thanks, Ken in San Francisco, California, I appreciate you taking the time to welcome me to MLHH. A kind word or gesture goes a long way. I was actually living in Palo Alto in a commune back in the late 60s early 70s when I last had long hair. I recently decided since I will be retiring from my job soon that I will grow it long again - at least what is left to grow.
All the best,

Um. Sorry. I wasn't sure what the picture was in the first place. I incorrectly thought it was meant as a humorous reply in some fashion to the post. Again, sorry. Wasn't trying to be mean.
CarpeMortum90,
Hey man, thanks for the reply. I appreciate the clarification. No hard feelings.

Yes this is supposed to be a supportive site.
To get your photo to come up you need to add your name to the
users directory above. Then when you post your email address will trigger the photo.
One of the nice things about long hair is you can wear it a bunch of different ways. There is no wrong way to wear it. The choice is entirely up to you.
Thanks. Much appreciated.

Oops. I thought I was adding a small photo next to my name, but obviously that's not what happened. Sorry about that. I'm still trying to figure out how to do things on this website. How do I get a small photo next to my name?
The FAQ covers most topics such as this one. Here's link that discusses the Users' Directory and the procedure involved to get an avatar.

Thanks, Jason. Much appreciated.
Pretty sure I already posted a response, but it's not here?
