Tried something new for my hair. Was received well on a night out in my college town. I don't think it will be a go to hairstyle for me, but maybe I will use it every now and again.
An interesting style.
One of the nice things about long hair is there are many different ways to wear it.
As far as it being well received, i'm 61 years old now so I don't care what others think. My hair is long, it will stay long until the say I die. No matter what others think. .
That is a great mentality to have! I also have little interest in what others think, but it was nice to hear some compliments, always a pickmeup.
Hey JP Colleran,
Awesome!
A double braid! I like it! I think that I would like to try it myself.
It will look even better as your hair gets longer.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
Thanks Raymond!
Can't wait to try it as my hair gets longer! I have been loving the process of growing it out and the different styles I can experiment with at different lengths.
LOL, what a hoot, I love it! I occasionally have tried "unconventional" looking hair styles over the years; but I always believe you younger guys can pull it off better than us old geezers can -- but regardless, it's fun to experiment a little bit, isn't it?
Also, on another topic...
I did read your reply about living in Livermore 10 or so years ago. Cool! A close friend of mine, and also a co-worker, lives in Livermore (I work in Castro Valley, which is near Hayward -- more or less half-way in-between SF and Livermore). My ex-wife used to live in Toronto, where you now live (we are still friends, just not married anymore). She now lives over in Germany, married to her 3rd husband; but her son, who is probably close to your age, still lives in Toronto.
In some ways, it's a small world!
"Onward & Downward!"
Take Care,
Ken
But then the advanatage old geezers like me have is I don't care
what others think. I wear my hair the way I want to and could care less what others think. If I cared what others thought i'd have cut my hair years ago. I don't so I haven't. So my hair shall remain long until the day I die.
