As promised, at the game with my son.
Great length! But the fact that your son respects you with your long hair is even better.
Enjoy the NFL season!

Thank you and I hope I will enjoy the NFL season and my Panthers do well.
I used to take my son on the road with me during summer break from school and have pretty much always had long hair. I think my long hair helped to make him feel safe as it seemed other drivers thought I might pull out a gun or a knife and start something! Seriously! Men tend to avoid me, many women too, but kids, especially young kids always smile at me. I do make efforts to put most people at ease but sometimes its helpful to be somewhat imposing.
It's really cool
When I was a school kid my dad used to have long hair, not as long as yours though , his hair was just past his shoulders but the coolest thing about it was that my parents allowed me to grow my hair long. I had hair down to my shoulders when I was 13 - 15 y.o. I could not wear it longer because of school rules.
Great photo, you look cool with your hair thrown over one shoulder ! Is not your son planning on growing his hair long too ? :)
No he seems to like the no muss no fuss kind of hair! I've had long hair since he was young but have never pushed him either way. He can grow an awesome full beard where I cannot and I think that's enough for him.
Don, I don't believe you: the young man on your left couldn't possibly be your son -- you look more like you could be his older brother! You look waaaaay too young to be 55... 45.99 maybe; but definitely not 55! (stupid joke, I know; but it's way past my bedtime, so I get a bit punchy at this hour - LOL)

Hi Ken, thanks for the compliment! Of course I would love to go back to being 45 again! I still feel younger, I'm not supposed to be this old, there's still a kid trapped inside this old-er body :)
Nice long hair! :)
Did you see many/any longhairs in the stadium?
