Hello, everyone,
Used to be on this board about 5 years ago. My hair was pretty much past my shoulder. I've cut it on and off, but no shorter than my collarbone. I've decided to let it keep growing again. I just felt odd being in my 40's and still having long hair. However, I do feel more like myself when i have long hair...It's currently a bit past my shoulders. It's wavy and gets curly on humid or rainy days. I do have alot more greys this time around. Currently used lemon juice this summer to lighten it up to a dirty blonde. It's nice to be back and read everyone's comments and advice. Thank you...Dee
Many of us are way beyond our forty years and have long hair. You have nice hair. Enjoy the colour before you go grey!
Welcome (back) to the board.

I'm 61 years old, have long hair (all grey) and would feel very odd having short hair. So my hair will remain long until the day I die. I use absolutley nothing on my grey hair, I'll keep it long and grey. After all I keep saying i earned avery one of those grey hairs every time some told me all those years ago to get a hair cut.
Your hair looks great. You should let it grow.
Yeah! I'm 44 and finally have the long hair I always wanted. Age doesn't matter and you look awesome.
Hi there Dee,
I certainly do remember you from the time period you mentioned but didn't you have darker hair back then?Have to admit I never felt odd about having long hair as I got older.I'm just thankful everyday that its still all there ;)I hope all has been well with you since last visiting the board and welcome back my friend:) Cheers...

Hi Dee,
Your hair looks really good. Thanks for sharing the photo. I think I know how you feel about being older and having long hair. I just turned 65 this summer and have started growing my hair long again. I'm also bald on the top of my head and at times I think I must be crazy to be growing my hair long as a "bald man", but I am giving it a chance. I hope I don't end up looking too weird. Although, I am finding that the older I get the less I seem to care what others think. All the best to you.

Welcome back. I too have been gone for awhile, but not as long as you. It's nice to see this community still going strong.
