Hey guys! 7 months from #2 on the sides and 1 inch up top.
Pardon the 3 day no shampoo greasiness and bed head. My hair definitely feels much healthier today than after 1 or 2 days with no shampoo. The last 2 pics are from another day where my hair was cleaned ha ha. Currently 4-4.25 inches on top, 3.5 inches on sides.
Typically I wear it like the second to last pic, the side part or an Alice band. Do the curly bangs look bad when the fringe is somewhat side swept over the forehead?
Id appreciate any tips or comments! Cheers

Looks like awesome progress to me my friend ! Your hair is going to morph before your eyes and become a wavy symbol of awesomeness to all :) Keep doing what you do, and enjoy the journey !
Thanks Patrick! how did you style it to make it through the inbetween stages?
im thinking about trying a storng pomade or gel because paste doesnt hold my hair back well enough
Im LOVING it so far. definitely a few obstacles along the journey but it will be worth it
Honestly, I haven't used any product at all in my 17 month journey so far. I just toughed it out and let my hair lay down naturally and out of my eyes :) I used water as needed due to my natural waves. Maybe try a wax ? Take care man :)
Wow that's awesome! I'd definitely like to go natural for most of the time except for special occasions. I've just been letting it ride the past few days and it's kind of nice. The bangs were annoying at first but I'm getting used to the feeling of them on my forehead. Haven't felt bangs in 7 years!
Do you have any pics of what it looked like from 7 months to 1 year?
This is my 8 month progress pic from back in January of this year.

I'd say there is nothing wrong with the lock in the front, it looks good! All the styles look good. The main thing is to be confident with the style you chose.
Thanks Phillip! I appreciate that advice. I'm definitely learning to be more confident in not caring what people think through this journey!
