I've been reading the board on and off for almost half a year now. I just wanted to share something with everyone. I woke up this morning and went through the usual routine. I jumped in the shower, shaved and got ready to go to work. As I was drying my hair, a long strand of hair fell and poked me in the eye (really got in there for a good poke).
Now this may not seem like a big deal to allot of you; however this is the first time in my life that Ive had hair long enough for it to really poke me in the eyes!
The hair in my eye didn't bother me, it brought a smile to my face and I couldn't help but think of this board. I've always maintained the small crew cut hair since Ive been a child. I have very thick hair and have yet to hear any negative comments from people like: "He needs a haircut" or the old "get a haircut hippy".
A big thank you to all the members of the board, Ive picked up some great advice, some funny stories and in general its a great place to spend some time when youre in the dreaed bad hair phase. Looking forward to being able to place my hair behind my ears.
I felt the same way the first time I got a hair in my mouth, and when I went to pick it out (thinking it was one of the dog's) I discovered it was attached at the other end to my head!
Ain't life grand?

... I would consider to be a good thing (that you woke up this morning, I mean). Also, I have had that happen to me before also. Hurts like the dickin's, man!
