It has been about 13 months since I started this wonderful journey.
Also, I'm excited to let you all know that I got married on Halloween!! :)
I married my boyfriend of 2+ years in a small Handfasting at a local park.
Cheers, All! :)
Congratulations! and on Halloween - how fun. All the best to you and your husband.
I got married in July to my boyfriend, after 22 years together. We got married mostly for all the benefits, as we had made a lifetime commitment to each other 20 years ago.

Wow! Congrats on two decades! :)
Why is everyone gay on this site?
Not everyone.
--------------------------
From what I have observed, maybe 20 percent here are gay. The main reason that I can think of is that long hair in the gay world is mostly shunned and gay longhairs come here for support. It is much more difficult for them to get support from fellow gay men since most gay men have short hair.
Scott
Hi Scott,
That seems to make sense based on my observation. Lots of gays exist in my area and truth is long hair among them is extraordinarily uncommon. Long hair on men is more prevalent among other groups and gays aren't one of them.
Sincerely,
J.M.M.
Hey, Scott. That may be part of it. I also know that we've a large population of metalheads, and that may contribute. Also,a few people who have long hair because of its association with the past way men wore their hair.
JMM:
If you look on p. 498 of "The Global LGBT Agenda: 2015 Wraparound Revision", under sec. 3 paragraph 2, subclause E, it clearly states the following: "...previous research has generally indicated that a variety of sociopolitical factors contribute to the general observation that very few GLBT men wear their hair in a manner considered "long". Subcouncil for the Redefinition of Masculinity has again affirmed its continued commitment to infiltrate so-called "long-haired men's" communities.Several small task forces around the world have already been previously assigned to this matter, and will be expected to present their findings to the Subcouncil once they have had marked success."
Congratulations on your hair! When I read "announcement" I was
afraid that you were going to say that you had cut your hair,
but instead congratulations also on the happy event in your
life.
Uh-oh. Totally not what I meant!! LoL! Sounds like a good idea for April 1st though. ;)
Congrats on the marriage! That is awesome news.
Your hair looks great, too, Keep growing it dude.
Thanks!! :)
