First off, his hair is NOT long and WHO is she to tell him to get a haircut when her hair is long herself. seems a bit hypocritical for a chick who likes hers long to tell a dude to get his clipped short, doesn't it?
lets turn the tables. suppose he had mid-back length hair and told her she should get a super short crop and her hair was barely over her ears.
have any of you guys had issues especially with women with long hair suggesting you get a short haircut?

A couple of things here:
1. Around here many of the women around here have hair that is shorter than mine. (Many of them have hair that is above the shoulder and a number of them have hair that is close to a buzz cut.
2. He has the right to wear his hair as long as he wants. And women also have the right to wear their hair as long or short as they want.
Sexism cuts both ways, as do all forms of discrimination.
I once even had to wait and be the last person served at a roadside food van, apparently due to being white. Admittedly, that is very rare, and greatly outweighed in frequency of occurrence by instances of white on black discrimination. To their credit, most black people treat us far better than some white people treat them.
Back to the subject at hand, women have no monopoly at being the victims in the sex wars, although many of them pretend so. A young lady who I had met through a long hair board, who I had thought of as a long term friend, recently 'unfriended' me on FaceBook.
Why? For stating the true fact that more men than women are victims of violent attacks on the street. Granted most of the perpetrators are still male, few of the attacks on men are sexual, and women tend to be smaller and more vulnerable. All those things are true too, but an online relationship of many years ended before the conversation got that far.
I saw some of the video and conclude that this young lady could do with a sharp lesson. She is constantly denigrating the young man, and this is a form of bullying and dominance. I was ready for this when I said no to the suggestion of a haircut in January 2014. Several times, my wife has gone on about cutting needed to have better growth and quality. It has been a long war of attrition.
I am all for gender equality, but women have to learn to stop being sexist and bullying.
In this case, I have the impression that the woman is very well aware of the traditional symbolism of long hair on men. Also, to a woman, hair seems to be part of the seductive "thing" and disposable when no longer needed. We men have other sensitivities, and women can get very afraid of them.
Don't waste your time watching that crap. Although both the guy and the girl happen to be physically attractive, they just like talking about themselves... Who cares? I'm sure that if you had a bossy girlfriend like that, you'd dump her in a heart-beat. But obviously, this guy must "enjoy" being told by his g/f when to get his hair cut. Just click on a different YouTube video... there are thousands upon thousands of much more interesting ones to watch!!

(who probably wasted his time responding to this thread!)
I watched like 30 seconds of it - before moving on. Damn tedious and a time-waster
