So does the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Long Haired Men still exist in any capacity?
In my world, it will always be 13 o'clock.
A great loss--very sad--but certainly a life worth celebrating.

Interesting that he was an early advocate for longer hair on men, but ended up going increasingly shorter later on.
David Bowie on 'Tonight' (1964)
Well worth de-lurking to pay respects to Bowie. His music is woven into my youth and I still listen to it on a fairly regular basis.

We've lost a great man and great musician, but his legacy will live on. R.I.P. David Bowie, I am so grateful for your contributions to the world, and my condolences to your family for their loss and grief at this time.

Deeply saddened by the loss of a great Capricorn who was 3 hours and 52 minutes older than I was when he passed from our lives.
The video of this appearance is on YouTube and the interviewer is Cliff Mitchelmore. I have seen it before, and as a Brit of a certain age I remember Cliff as a presenter on the BBC.
Looks like Tim posted a link to it.
